Mr. Venteicher is the Chief Executive Officer of Tyr Energy and is a member of its Board of Directors. He joined the company in 2003 shortly after it was founded. Prior to his appointment as CEO in 2017, Mr. Venteicher served as Chief Financial Officer with responsibility for sourcing and structuring capital for Tyr Energy’s electric generation investments; managing partner, lender and shareholder relationships; and oversight of financial reporting and treasury functions for Tyr Energy and its portfolio companies.
Mr. Herrold joined Tyr Energy in 2017 as the Chief Financial Officer, leading our treasury, finance, accounting, tax and risk management functions. He is also responsible for sourcing and structuring capital for Tyr Energy’s investments and managing various partner, lender and shareholder relationships. Mr. Herrold holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kansas State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Mr. So is an Executive Officer and has overall responsibility for all legal matters pertaining to Tyr Energy, its subsidiaries and its business activities. In addition to his legal responsibilities, Mr. So is actively involved in corporate strategy and transaction structuring work at Tyr. Mr. So received his B.A. from New York University and his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a Senior Editor of the Fordham Law Review.
Mr. Taylor is responsible for developing and maintaining banking relationships and for raising capital for Tyr’s investments. Mr. Taylor is actively involved in structuring and negotiating project financing transactions. In addition to providing financial oversight for proposed acquisition and development projects, Mr. Taylor received both a B.S. in Business Management, and an MBA from Brigham Young University.
Mr. Calhoon leads our asset management functions and is responsible for overseeing our generation portfolio and related strategy initiatives. Mr. Calhoon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Kansas. Mr. Calhoon also earned an MBA, with emphasis in finance, from Rockhurst University (formerly Rockhurst College).
Dr. Moye joined Tyr Energy in 2019 as Senior Vice President and is responsible for providing energy management services to Tyr’s existing generating assets and to other resource owners in the industry. Dr. Moye has Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Master of Engineering, Master of Business Administration degrees, and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. He is also a registered professional engineer.
Mr. Argetsinger joined Tyr Energy in 2009. He is responsible for commercial optimization of our generation portfolio and corporate strategy initiatives. Mr. Argetsinger holds a Bachelor of Political Science with emphasis in national security and public policy; a Master of Business Administration with emphasis in finance, investments, and portfolio management; and a Juris Doctor degree, all from the University of Kansas.
Mr. Helms joined Tyr Energy in 2019. He is responsible for energy management services, with a focus managing wholesale generation assets with RTO operations. He is a graduate of The University of Houston, with a BBA in Accounting. He also earned his MBA from Rice University with a finance emphasis.
Mr. Carrell leads Tyr Energy’s capital raising and joint venture initiatives, sourcing capital from domestic and international investors. He also develops strategies to invest partnership capital in power and infrastructure opportunities. Mr. Carrell holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
